Ah, the reason for the shrine. How very thoughtful of you all, I must say.
Out of all the characters in Kingdom Hearts.. I probably loved Kairi the most first. I didn't love her straight off. Everyone started the same in that series. But.. Kairi held a special place for me. Right from the moment she woke Sora up in the first game, she grew on me. I feel like her a lot, and relate to her story. She's a very corageous girl, and she's not the typical heroine either. She's kind of a mixture of the old school 'damsel in distress' and the current flair of 'I fight by myself'. It's a good mix, and I like it!
In the first game, I liked her. She was very.. lively to say the least, and always nervous about herself. She gained confidence as she grew older, and became more.. quieter. As her story became more evident in KH2.. and when I played KH2.. I fell in love with all the characters all over again, but most notably, I loved Kairi even more. The destiny trio has a special place for me: Sora, Riku, and Kairi. I love them all. But Kairi has an even bigger part of my heart for those three.
